Once again an update.

I thought I'd do a work status report today.

The advertisement work, movie clothes fitting, etc, etc,
has made this a pretty busy week for me.

As for the drama, filming for it has safely started.
The producer, director, staff and everyone are all kind,
it's a place where one can't stop smiling.

As for the role...
I actually still haven't got a good grasp on it yet, or rather,
I don't get in tune with it.
That the role appears to be very much at odds with the image I got
when I started reading the script is confusing me.

Up till now it has never been this way when getting into a role,
(Actually, I just don't know how to get into a role...)
Just relying on the impressions and image I got when I first read the script
was enough for me to make complete sense of it.

I have no idea if it's right or wrong,
but reading into the script over and over, practising it,
I've never needed to go that far,
I could do my work on instinct alone.

By overreading the script I've read more into it then there is,
and got into the role in a much too strange way, so I got confused when
right when we were filming the direction went beyond my assumptions,
which is scary.

So my method doesn't appear to be effective.
I may have run into a wall with my role this time.

I had the idea that I must study my role with many repeat
readings of the script in order to deal with the filming,
but during the few days that we've been filming
I remained in the dark.

So far, "I'll try to do as fits the atmosphere", and
"If I were in this situation then what would I do?"
alone doesn't allow me to act properly,
and I realize that in this way I won't
improve at all.

I've come to the conclusion that I won't be a success as an actress
if I don't change the method I'm using.

But this conclusion doesn't mean that
I'm not about to resign in despair,
I shall react by facing the task at hand positively.

I've still only just started acting,
so I'll surely have many more tasks awaiting me,
but I think it's okay if I'll digest them one by one as they come.

Anyhow, things seem to be going well enough with the drama as it is,
so I think I'll grasp around in my own way to get into my role.

Well then the picture shows Miyamori Takayuki-san of esper. drying my hair.
The other day I had about 10 centimeters of my hair cut off for the drama's sake,
but no-one noticed that my overlong hair had been cut. Dejected.

Miyamori-san is the beautician who has been working with me
for anan, the mini cover, docomo, the Capsela CF and the like.

By leaving it up to Miyamori-san I got a different hair and make-up each time, which is truly enjoyable.
Before an important job I always go to esper. to request a treatment and a haircut.

When the drama goes on-air then please be sure! to notice...
you may not realize otherwise... the length of my somewhat shorter hair.
